We are looking for a Scientist with hands-on experience in analytical sciences to join our bacterial metabolite R&D unit, focusing on targeted and untargeted metabolite analysis using LC/GC-MS technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform LC and GC-MS analysis of bacterial metabolites in an R&D setting
- Interpret results using metabolomics software (MetaboAnalyst, LabSolution)
- Support experimental design, data analysis, and report writing
- Assist with lab maintenance and reagent inventory management
Required Skills & Qualifications
- MSc in Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related field
- Documented experience with LC and/or GC-MS chromatographic analysis; MS experience is a plus
- Familiarity with standard biochemical techniques (UV-VIS spectroscopy, SDS-PAGE, sample preparation/extraction)
- Good statistical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken)
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team
